MCM for the First Leg Match between Vietnam and Nepal in the Final Round of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers (Group F)
On the afternoon of October 8, at the meeting room of Binh Duong Stadium (Go Dau), Thu Dau Mot Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the match coordination meeting was held ahead of the first-leg match between the Vietnam National Team and the Nepal National Team in Group F of the Final Round of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers, scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. on October 9.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – Co-President of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation, along with the match commissioner, referee assessor, representatives of both the Vietnam and Nepal national teams, and members of the match organizing committee.
On behalf of the VFF leadership, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu – General Secretary of the VFF – welcomed the match officials and the Nepal national team to Ho Chi Minh City for the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers match against Vietnam. He expressed his hope that the visiting team would quickly adapt to the weather conditions in Vietnam and make the best possible preparations for the match.
Representing the local organizing committee at Go Dau Stadium, Thu Dau Mot Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – Co-President of the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation – affirmed that all preparations for the match between the Vietnam and Nepal national teams had been thoroughly completed, from pitch conditions to security and medical arrangements. Mr. Vu Duc Thanh wished both teams a successful and exciting match.
During the technical meeting, representatives of both teams were briefed on key match-related matters. Accordingly, the Vietnam National Team will play in their traditional red kit.
Later in the afternoon, the head coach and a selected player from each team were scheduled to attend the pre-match press conference at 4:00 p.m. in the Go Dau Stadium press room, followed by a one-hour familiarization training session on the pitch.
The match between Vietnam and Nepal will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Binh Duong Stadium (Go Dau) and will be broadcast live on VFF Channel (YouTube), FPT Play, and VTV.
