On the morning of Mar 30, the drawing ceremony of National Championship Division 2-2022 was held at VFF’s House. The ceremony was broadcast live on VFF Channel.

On the afternoon of 4th May, the national championship division 2 – Asanzo Cup 2021 officially opened with the matches of groups A and B.

According to the plan, the National Championship Division 2 – Asanzo Cup 2021 will officially kick-off on 4th May, in which the opening ceremony and the opening match will take place in Hoa Binh stadium. To ensure safety, the organisation committee focused on the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic and followed the guidance of medical units.

On the afternoon of Nov 16, the National Championship Division 2 – On Sports 2020 ended with the match between Gia Định and CAND. Finally, Gia Định won 1-0 over CAND, thereby getting the promotion chance with Phú Thọ and Phù Đổng.

After Phú Thọ got the chance to join in the National Championship Division 1-2021, the next chance to promote belong to Phù Đổng FC with the victory 3-2 in the match with Gia Định at the next match on the afternoon of Nov 13.
