U17 Vietnam has returned home after a determined journey at the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup
On the morning of April 13, the Vietnam U17 national team arrived at Nội Bài International Airport (Hanoi), marking the end of their campaign at the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup. The flight of head coach Cristiano Roland and his players back home departed from Taif (Saudi Arabia), with a layover in Doha (Qatar), and lasted nearly 24 hours. Representing the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) at the airport to welcome the team were Deputy General Secretary Nguyễn Minh Châu and Director of the National Teams Department Đoàn Anh Tuấn.
U17 Vietnam won 3-0 in a friendly match against the PVF team
On the afternoon of March 5th, U17 Vietnam played a friendly match to test personnel and playing style against the PVF U17 team. This was also the first friendly match for the team since assembling the full squad at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

On the afternoon of March 3rd, the U17 Vietnam officially entered an important training phase to prepare for the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup. This was also the first training session with the full squad, featuring the best-performing U17 players at the moment.

This afternoon (January 14), on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, Vice President Trần Anh Tú visited and encouraged national team player Hồ Tấn Tài at the hospital. The defender recently underwent surgery to reconstruct his anterior cruciate ligament and will soon begin the rehabilitation phase of his recovery.

This morning (January 7), President of the Vietnam Football Federation, Trần Quốc Tuấn, visited and encouraged player Nguyễn Xuân Son at Vinmec Hospital. Son had just undergone surgery to treat an injury sustained during the return leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final. Accompanying President Trần Quốc Tuấn were Vice President Nguyễn Trung Kiên and General Secretary Nguyễn Văn Phú.
