Coach Diego Giustozzi: “Vietnam futsal team will play with 100% passion, 100% heart!”
After a smooth travel journey, the Vietnam futsal team has officially arrived in Thailand, ready to enter the SEA Games 33 campaign with the goal of changing their medal color. Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation, Trần Anh Tú, personally went to the airport to welcome and motivate the entire team.

Speaking at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, head coach Diego Giustozzi expressed his satisfaction with the team’s preparation over the past period. The Argentine coach emphasized the effective support from the Vietnam Football Federation and highly appreciated the quality of the organization during the five-week training camp in Ho Chi Minh City. “I am very happy and grateful for the support from the Vietnam Football Federation throughout this time. We had two weeks focused solely on fitness and three weeks to refine and review tactical strategies. I am very confident that this team can achieve success at the tournament in Thailand,” shared coach Diego Giustozzi.
Facing intense competition at the SEA Games, the Vietnamese futsal team aims to improve their performance. Coach Diego Giustozzi believes that pressure is inevitable when wearing the national team jersey. However, he affirms that the entire team is in good spirits and ready to face the challenges ahead. “As Vice President Trần Anh Tú mentioned, we are serving the nation, so pressure is natural. I understand the significance of the SEA Games for the Vietnamese people. But at this moment, I believe our team has made great progress, and this is the time to show our fans that we are ready to win, ready to face any opponents in the region without fear,” he emphasized.
Sending a message to Vietnamese fans ahead of SEA Games 33, coach Diego Giustozzi affirmed that his players’ spirit of dedication will remain unchanged. “I cannot predict the results because sports always have unpredictable elements. But I can guarantee that my players will compete with 100% passion, 100% heart. Vietnamese fans can be completely proud of the Vietnamese futsal team at this SEA Games,” the Argentine strategist shared.
In Thailand, Coach Giustozzi’s team is staying at the same hotel as the Vietnamese women’s futsal team in Nonthaburi. Logistics, especially the team’s meal arrangements, have been carefully planned by the Vietnam Football Federation based on practical experience from previous teams participating in SEA Games in Thailand, to ensure the best possible conditions for the entire team.
With thorough preparation, high determination, and confidence from the coaching staff, the Vietnamese futsal team is aiming to make a new mark on the regional stage.
