Drawing ceremony of the Futsal National Cup 2023
On the morning of 27 Oct, at the headquarter of VFF, the drawing ceremony of the Futsal National Cup 2023 took place.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau – VFF’s Deputy General Secretary, Co-chairman of the Tournament’s organsation and the representative of function departments, clubs and press.
Speaking at the ceremony, VFF’s Deputy General Secretary Nguyen Minh Chau emphasized that the development of the HDBank National Futsal Cup in recent years has contributed significantly to the achievements of Vietnamese futsal in the international arena. “This is the 7th season, VFF cooperates with the Voice of Vietnam and the companionship of Sponsor HDBank. Over the past 7 years, the tournament has brought many quality matches, creating attraction for fans, contributing to promoting the futsal movement in Vietnam, with the clearest evidence being the fact that the futsal team Vietnam participated in the World Cup twice,” Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau said.
The tournament rules stipulate that 8 teams are divided into 2 groups, each group has 4 teams, competing in a round robin with points. The top and second teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals. The two teams ranked third in each group will compete for 5th place, while the bottom 2 teams in each group will compete for 7th place.
The two winning teams in the semi-finals will advance to the final to compete for the championship. The two losing teams in the semi-finals compete for third place.
According to the draw results, Group A includes the teams of Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City Club, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa, Cao Bang and Tan Hiep Hung. Meanwhile, Group B will be a competition between 4 teams: Sahako, Thai Son Bac, Luxury Ha Long and Hanoi.
The tournament will take place from November 9 to November 18 at Lanh Binh Thang Stadium (HCMC). The opening ceremony was held on November 11.
