Hanoi I plays against HCMC I in the final match of Women’s National Cup 2022
The 1-0 victory against Than KSVN helps Ho Chi Minh City I win the first ticket to the final of the Women’s National Cup 2022. On the other hand, Hanoi I also won over Thai Nguyen T&T with same score of 1-0.

In the first semi-final, an surprising goal came to Ho Chi Minh City I from a set piece. In the 5th minute, after Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy’s corner kick, Tran Nguyen Bao Chau hit a dangerous header, goalkeeper Khong Thi Hang did not handle it well and let the ball came into the net. After a goal, the match became even more interesting when Than KSVN raise the tempo to find an equalizer. In the 9th minute, Thuy Hang had chance but could not beat goalkeeper Kim Thanh. However, the problem of head coach Doan Minh Hai’s team is the accuracy of finishing. Nguyen Thi Van, Truc Huong or Thuy Hang all have their own opportunities but cannot take advantage of them.
Moving to the second half, the game did not change much. Ho Chi Minh City I and Than KSVN both tried to play short-ball and control the game. The second semi-final of the tournament was the match between Hanoi I and Thai Nguyen T&T. With many quality additions in personnel, Thai Nguyen T&T progressed quickly and presented as a difficult opponent to play. Hanoi I with many national players could not find their way into the opponent’s goal during the first half. Hai Yen and her teammates did not really take advantage in the first 45 minutes.
