Kick-off the U15 National Championship – Next Media 2020: Binh Duong in a festival
On the afternoon of 17th Oct, at Binh Duong Stadium, the opening ceremony of U15 National Championship – Next Media 2020 was held.

Attending the ceremony, there were Mrs. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang – Member of the Standing Committee Ho Chi Minh Communist National Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung – Deputy Director of National Sports Training Centre (TP. Ho Chi Minh); Mr. Cao Van Chong – Vice President of VFF; Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary; Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Deputy General Secretary, Head of the Organizer; Mr. Yusuke Adachi – VFF Technical Director; Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – President of Binh Duong Football Association; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan – Member of the Executive Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong Youth Union; Mr. Bui Huu Toan – Deputy Director of Binh Duong Central propaganda and training commission; Mr. Le Van Thai – Deputy Director of Binh Duong Culture, Sports, anf Tourism Department; Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien – CEO of Next Media; Mr. Do Thanh Tung – Deputy General Director of Next Media; and representative of sponsors, Becamex Binh Dương Club, press, and spectator.
The U15 National Championship – Next Media 2020 is a competition of 8 youth clubs included PVF, Viettel, Song Lam Nghe An, SHB Da Nang, Becamex Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Quang Nam. As the draw result, defending champion Song Lam Nghe An is in group A with Viettel, Ho Chi Minh City, and host Becamex Binh Duong. Meanwhile, group B is the battle of PVF, Dong Nai, Quang Nam, and SHB Da Nang.
The teams will play one round to rate the rank in the group. The top 2 teams of the groups will go into the Semis. 2 win teams will join the final game. Two other teams at the Semis will rank 3rd place.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – VFF Deputy General Secretary, Head of the Organizer emphasized the role of the youth football system, in which the U15 National Championship. Especially, recent years, with the adjustment of VFF about the format, the tournament received many concerns from spectator, clubs, teams, and become a good environment for young players to practice and gain experience.
After the ceremony, the opening game between host U15 Becamex Binh Duong and U15 Viettel was kicked-off. U15 Viettel won 2-1.
At the earlier game, Song Lam Nghe An won 3-0 over U15 TP.HCM.
