Opening ceremony of the Women’s National Cup 2023
On the afternoon of February 14, at PVF Youth Football Training Center, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Women’s National Cup took place.

Attending the opening ceremony, on the side of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), there were Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Vice President; Mr. Do Van Nhat – Member of Executive Committee, Chairman of Women’s Football Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the tournament. The ceremony was also attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung – Deputy General Director of PVF Youth Football Training Center; Mr. Bui Dinh Te – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Co., Ltd; Mr. Mai The Hung – Director of External Relations of Dong Luc Joint Stock Company with the presence of football teams and the press.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the tournament affirmed: “After 4 years of organization, the Women’s National Cup has become an important tournament in the national competition system organized by VFF. This continues to affirm the efforts of VFF in creating more playgrounds for women’s teams, increasing opportunities for female players to compete, improving their qualifications, and being a resource for women’s football national women’s soccer teams. The LDBDVN expects the 2023 Women’s National Cup women’s football tournament to be exciting and attractive with high professional quality, creating an exciting competition and fair-play.
In the early match on the opening day, Thai Nguyen T&T Club won against Than KSVN with a score of 1-0 with the only goal of midfielder Nguyen Thi My Anh. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the tournament continued to take place with remarkable matches between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi II, while PP Ha Nam meets Hanoi I.
