Nguyen Thanh Nhan opened Vietnam’s account in the 10th minute with Bui Vi Hao scoring their second five minutes for a two-goal cushion going into the break.
Timor-Leste kept their opponents at bay for the most part of the second half but Vietnam turned on the power with late goals from Nguyen Xuan Bac (83rd) and Khuat Van Khang (85th) to seal the win.

Rabbani Siddiq got the ball rolling when he found the back of the net in the 10th minute before goals from Alfriyanto Saputro (22nd) and Zanadin Fariz (43rd) put Indonesia 3-0 up going into the break.
Hong Kong reduced the deficit through Chen Ngo Hin with a 63rd minute penalty but Indonesia replied in the 86th minute through Ferdinan’s effort before the No 7 scored his second goal from the spot in the third minute of added time.
