U22 Vietnam has 3 points at the first match of SEA Games 32
A 2-0 victory over Laos U22 has brought all 3 points for U22 Vietnam in the opening match in Group B of SEA Games 32 men’s football.
The goal comes early for U22 Vietnam. After some tussels on the right wing, Thanh Nhan crosses the ball into the penalty area. Van Tung runs across the Laos defender’s face and then heads the ball in right at the edge of the penalty area. Despite some distance, the Vietnamese striker’s touch guides the ball close to the bottom edge of the crossbar and passes the reach of the Laos goalkeeper.
Despite conceding early, Laos still play confidently. Angot dribbles the ball inside the box and then passes a low ball, earning the corner. Not long after, the striker heads the ball for teammates to cross in. This time, Theo bounced high and headed the ball off the goal.
U22 Vietnam also had some opportunities like at the 16th minute Van Do makes a bold attempt: the strong shot goes past the wall, making goalkeeper Thilavong stretch all the way to push the ball over the bar.
