Viettel FC determinated to play with BG Pathum United
Viettel FC head coach Jurgen Gede affirmed that his players are motivated and eager to hit the ground running in the match against BG Pathum United (Thailand).
Mr. Jurgen Gede stated that: “We came here to get experience, but nobody is happy when they lose,” said Gede. “We know the reality of how we need to play and keep our position. Even today, everyone is still focused.
“I can’t predict whether we will win or not, it all depends on the situation on the pitch, but we will do our best. The team is in good spirits, but let’s see tomorrow.”
BG Pathum United overtook Viettel into second place after beating the V.League club 2-0 two days ago to sit three points behind defending champions Ulsan Hyundai FC and three ahead of Monday’s opposition.
“We were happy with our three points, but like after every game, we will review and analyse, and there are always areas to improve,” said Vidmar. “But under these circumstances, there’s not much time to train. In a tournament like this, we need to maximise recovery as much as we can.
“Every game is different, and even though we played against them a few days ago, they will go and analyse the game and adjust some things. One thing is certain is that we’re missing a player from suspension, so are they.
“Whether they make changes to the team, that’s another consideration and even if they do, would it be something different from what they already have? These are some of things that are unknown until they happen, but we’ve got to prepare as best as we can with the players that we’ve seen. I can’t see why we can’t get another three points against them.”
