Khanh Hoa crowned champions of the 2025 National Beach Soccer Championship
On the afternoon of June 17 at the beach soccer stadium in Nha Trang City, the 2025 National Beach Soccer Championship officially concluded with two exciting matches: the third-place playoff and the final. Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Hội – Standing Member of the VFF Executive Committee – attended the event on behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and took part in presenting awards to the teams and individuals who achieved outstanding results.

In the final match, defending champions Da Nang were unable to retain their title, falling to Khanh Hoa in a dramatic penalty shootout (3-4) after a 1-1 draw in regular time. Nguyễn Hữu Trọng opened the scoring for Khanh Hoa in the 24th minute, but shortly afterward, Trần Ngọc Bảo equalized for Da Nang, sending the match into a tense shootout. In the decisive moments, Khanh Hoa held their nerve to edge out Da Nang 4-3 on penalties and claim the championship title. This marks the seventh time the coastal team has won the National Beach Soccer Championship in its history.
In addition to lifting the championship trophy, Khanh Hoa completed a remarkable hat-trick of awards at the tournament, claiming the Fair Play Award, Best Player Award (Nguyễn Hoàng Quân), and Best Goalkeeper Award (Trần Công Thành). The Top Scorer title went to veteran striker Trần Ngọc Bảo of Da Nang.
Before the final match, Tuy Hoa – Phu Yen clinched third place with an impressive 3-2 victory over VietFootball in the third-place playoff. Bùi Phúc Đức (#9) was the hero of the match, netting a hat-trick with goals in the 3rd, 9th, and 31st minutes. VietFootball’s two goals came from Bùi Phúc Huy (#4) in the 11th minute and Não Minh Vĩ (#5) in the 20th minute.
