After a long flight from Nepal, the entire coaching staff and players arrived at the Elizabeth Hotel — their team base in Vietnam — at around 11:00 p.m. on October 7. Earlier, goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong had arrived ahead of the team, traveling directly to Vietnam after his most recent match. He is one of the team’s most notable players, having earned 107 caps for the Nepal national team. Another key player is forward Anjan Bista, who has scored 13 goals in 70 appearances for the South Asian side.

After the long journey, the Nepal national team players showed clear signs of fatigue. However, the organizing committee and hotel staff had made thoughtful arrangements to welcome them, providing a light meal before the team rested for the night.

According to the schedule, representatives of the Nepal national team will attend the technical meeting at 3:00 p.m. today (October 8). Later, head coach Matt Ross and player Kiran Kumar Limbu will take part in the pre-match press conference at Binh Duong Stadium (Go Dau). The team will also have a one-hour training session at the venue to familiarize themselves with the pitch and weather conditions ahead of the match, which will take place at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (October 9).
