Speaking at the opening ceremony, journalist Nguyen Cong Khe believes that this tournament will continue the tradition of Fresh – Fairplay – Interesting competition to become a playground that provides the Olympic team and the national team with outstanding young talents.
Over the years, the U19 National Championship, which takes place regularly every year, is considered an important playground for the next generation of Vietnamese football. The tournament has also received the attention and direction of the responsible levels of the sports industry as well as the host locality, the enthusiastic reception of the teams and the close monitoring and enthusiastic cheering of the fans should have received significant growth signals. Experts define the U.19 Championship as a place to find young football talents to supplement the Olympic football team and the Vietnam national football team.
During the U19 National Championship, all stands of Tay Ninh Provincial Stadium will be open to welcome spectators to watch and cheer for young teams.
