President of the VFF Tran Quoc Tuan congratulated the women’s team
At the end of the AFC Meeting and the draw for the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar, the President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan flew to Cambodia to watch the semi-final match of the Vietnam women’s team.

After the end of the match, President Tran Quoc Tuan went down to the field to congratulate head coach Mai Duc Chung and members of the Vietnam women’s football team, and also announced that the VFF Standing Committee awarded the team 500 million dong for their success. President Tran Quoc Tuan encouraged the whole team and advised to stay healthy, continue to prepare carefully for the women’s football final, meet Myanmar on May 15/ 2023.
Present in Cambodia as the manager of the U22 Vietnam to attend the 32nd SEA Games, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Anh Tu was also present at the Olympic Stadium to watch and cheer for the Vietnamese women’s team.
In this match, the women’s football team continued to receive the attention and enthusiastic cheers of the domestic football fans as well as the expatriates. The important cheers from the stands as well as from the home country fueled the women’s team members to successfully compete against the home team Cambodia in the semi-finals, thereby winning tickets to the SEA Games women’s football final.
