Qualifiers – Group F: Vietnam too strong for Hong Kong; Indonesia ease past Timor-Leste
Vietnam defeated Hong Kong 5-1 while Indonesia beat Timor-Leste 4-0 in Group F of the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2023 Qualifiers at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium on Wednesday.

Xuan Tien broke the deadlock with a 25th minute strike before Quoc Viet doubled Vietnam’s advantage from the penalty spot going into the break.
Xuan Tien scored his second goal of the evening in the 51st minute, with Van Khang scoring the fourth seven minutes later.
Ellison Tsang pulled one back for Hong Kong in the 69th minute but Vietnam replied with a strike from Duc Anh in the third minute of added time to cap the resounding win.
Indonesia 4-0 Timor Leste
Hokky Brilliant starred for Indonesia, scoring a hat-trick with Rabbani Siddiq finishing off with the fourth goal in their opener against Timor-Leste.
Hokky opened his account in the 12th minute before doubling his tally just before the half-hour mark to give Indonesia a two-goal cushion going into the break.
The PSS Sleman forward completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute before Rabbani closed the proceedings in the 89th minute.
Vietnam will play Timor-Leste on Friday, while Hong Kong face Indonesia.
