The National U15 Championship – Acecook Cup 2023: The defending champion SLNA is in a same group with Hanoi
On the morning of August 4, the ceremony to announce the main sponsor and draw the schedule for the U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2023 was held at the headquarters of the VFF.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen – Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sport Adminstration; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi – Standing member of the VFF Executive Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Minh – Deputy General Director of Thai Son Nam Group Joint Stock Company, Member of the Executive Committee of the VFF; Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF General Secretary and representatives of the General Secretariat and functional departments of the VFF; Mr. Kajiwara Shinsuke – Deputy Director of Marketing Department of Acecook Vietnam Company and press and media agencies.
In 2023, with the companionship of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company as the Main Sponsor, the National U15 Football Championship – Acecook Cup 2023 will be held in Ba Ria Vung Tau from August 10 to August 23, 2023. 12 teams qualified to participate in the U15 National Championship including: Hanoi, PVF CAND, Viettel, PVF, Song Lam Nghe An, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, SHB Da Nang, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Ba Ria Vung Tau (host), Khanh Hoa, Phu Dong and Tay Ninh.
Teams will be divided into 3 groups. Each group has 04 teams and competes in a round-robin round to calculate points, ranking to choose 03 first-place teams, 03 second-placed teams and 02 best third-placed teams to advance to the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals.
According to the draw results, Group A has: Ba Ria Vung Tau, SHB Da Nang, PVF-CAND and Hong Linh Ha Tinh. Group B includes: PVF, Phu Dong, Viettel, HAGL. Group C includes: Hanoi, SLNA, Tay Ninh, Khanh Hoa.
Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – VFF General Secretary emphasized: “In recent years, Vietnamese youth football has won commendable achievements at regional and continental levels. National youth teams have participated in many Asian finals, thereby supplementing resources for the national team. This result comes from the investment and interest of the club and the focus on organizing the youth tournament of the VFF. From here, we continue to believe that this is a useful playground for young players to rub, train their talents and gain experience for their journey towards a professional football career.”
Mr. Kajiwara Shinsuke – Deputy Director of Marketing Division of Acecook Vietnam Company, shared: “Since 2018, Acecook Vietnam Company has officially become a Sponsor of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and maintained these activities so far. With the desire through this sport to help build and fuel the spirit of Vietnamese youth, thereby contributing to the development of sport in particular and Vietnamese society in general. This year, Acecook Vietnam is honored to become the main sponsor of the U15 National Football Championship – Acecook Cup in 2023.
A remarkable point, from the 2023 season, the VFF decided to increase the award for the whole youth tournament system, including the National U15 football Championship.
