Technical meeting and a drawing ceremony for U19 National Championship 2020
On the morning of 31st May, the technical meeting and drawing ceremony for U19 National Championship 2020 was held at the office of VFF.

Delegator included Mr. Nguyễn Minh Ngọc – Deputy General Secretary, Head of Organizer Committee; Mrs. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – Deputy General Secretary, Deputy Head of Organizer Committee; representative of function departments; representative of 6 women clubs included U19 Hanoi Watabe, U19 Phong Phú Hà Nam I, U19 Phong Phú Hà Nam II, U19 Sơn La, U19 Hồ Chí Minh City, U19 VINACOMIN; match commissioners; assistant referees; referees; and representative of Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
Mr. Nguyễn Minh Ngọc – Deputy General Secretary, Head of Organizer Committee welcomes all clubs who participate in this tournament and emphasized that the organizer will ensure the safety while the intensive period after social distancing time due to COVID-19 pandemic. He also wished that all clubs will have good preparation and result at this tournament.
At the technical meeting, the organizer announced key information about the tournament. According to that, the U19 National Championship will take place from 1st June to 28th June. (First leg: from 1st June to 13th June; Second leg: from 16th June to 28th June) at Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.
With the participation of Sơn La and 2 teams of Phong Phú Hà Nam, this year, the number of clubs is 6 teams instead of 4 teams. Especially, according to the Temporary Law of IFAB, VFF decided to apply the temporary law in using substitute since 1st June 2020. Therefore, each team can have a total of 5 substitutes for 3 changing times. The change can add in break time.
At this meeting, representatives of the clubs have drawn to schedule the match. According to that, the opening match will occur between Phong Phú Hà Nam II and Phong Phú Hà Nam I. At the same time, Apec Sơn La will meet Hanoi Watabe while the match between U19 VINACOMIN and Hồ Chí Minh City will kick-off at 7 p.m on 1st June.
The organizer also updated the competition law for the clubs after the technical meeting.
