According to the news of AFC about the vote for Player of the Week – AFC Asian Qualifier – Road to Qatar, after the match between Vietnam and Oman team, striker Tien Linh won over other 9 players to become the Player of the Week with 73.38% vote.

In World Cup 2022 Asian Qualifiers, Tien Linh had 7 goals, in which there were 5 goals in the 2nd qualifier and 2 goals in the 3rd qualifier in two matches with China and Oman.
