The results of the 2024 HDBank National Futsal Cup (December 17): Thái Sơn Bắc crowned champions
In the final match held this afternoon (December 17), Thái Sơn Bắc secured an unexpected 10-1 victory over Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM to win the 2024 HDBank National Futsal Cup championship.

Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM was considered the stronger team, boasting a lineup with many national team players. However, Thái Sơn Bắc also had a talented group of young players, notably Nguyễn Đa Hải and foreign player Jediael Mota. It was this duo that scored the opening goal for the runners-up of the national championship.
Trailing behind, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM made efforts to attack. However, Coach Nguyễn Tuấn Anh’s team not only failed to score but also exposed several vulnerabilities that their opponents took advantage of. In the final 3 minutes of the first half, as Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM grew desperate in their attack, Thái Sơn Bắc scored 3 quick goals.
Goalkeeper Phạm Văn Tú also contributed a goal with a long goal kick straight into the opponent’s net during a power-play situation, when Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM attacked with all five players on the field and left their goal unguarded.
Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM conceded another goal at the beginning of the second half before finally scoring their first goal. However, the large gap in score made it impossible for them to turn the game around. On the contrary, they continued to lose ground. Thái Sơn Bắc added 5 more goals, including 3 goals in the final 2 minutes of the match, when Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM once again left their goal unguarded.
With a 10-1 victory, Thái Sơn Bắc won the 2024 HDBank National Futsal Cup championship.
Earlier, in the third-place match, Sahako also secured a commanding 5-0 win over Tân Hiệp Hưng.
