HANOI (3 April 2014) – Le Hung Dung has been appointed as the new president of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Hung Dung was the only candidate for the post where he had also served as the acting president of the body following the announcement of an early retirement by then president Nguyen Trong Hy in late 2013.
Hung Dung is also the chairman of Eximbank – the sponsor of the top tier V-League. Other than wanting to bring the game closer to the fans, Hung Dung also promised that a new national coach will be appointed by Vietnam by end of next month.
Other appointees included Tran Quoc Tuan as the Vice Expertise President and Doan Nguyen Duc to the Vice Financial President. Nguyen Xuan Gu is appointed as the Vice President of Communications.
