Ho Chi Minh City – AFC vice president Moya Dodd and general secretary Dato ‘Alex Soosay awarded a medal for VFF and Thong Nhat stadium, appreciation and recognition of their efforts and the field of VFF in the successful organization the women’s Asian Cup 2014 finals in Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Ms Moya Dodd – AFC vice-president thanked VFF and Thong Nhat Stadium has cooperated very well in the organization, ensuring women’s football festival’s culmination of a happening continent perfect in every way. Ms Moya Dodd said the successful organization of women’s Asian Cup 2014 finals again showed power and prestige of VFF on a high in the major events of football continents, and trust in future Vietnam will continue to be the trusted choice of AFC in his capacity as host country of the tournament stature continents.

Representative VFF receive a medal of AFC, General Secretary Le Hoai Anh thanked the recognition and appreciation of the AFC for VFF and Thong Nhat Stadium in the organization of the 2014 FIFA Women’s Asian Cup. General secretary Le Hoai Anh emphasized, if the trust is empowered AFC host, then in any tournament, VFF will also do its best, working with the highest sense of responsibility. With the continued success of the organization of big events AFC General Secretary Le Hoai Anh hopes Vietnam will continue to be an attractive destination of Asian football in the coming years.
