U17 Vietnam won 3-0 in a friendly match against the PVF team
On the afternoon of March 5th, U17 Vietnam played a friendly match to test personnel and playing style against the PVF U17 team. This was also the first friendly match for the team since assembling the full squad at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

Nguyễn Văn Bách’s solitary goal secured a 1-0 victory for the U16 Vietnam over the U16 Japan in their final match of the 2024 International U16 Peace Cup. As a result, the U16 Vietnam finished as the runner-up, falling short of the top position only on goal difference to the host team, U16 China.

VFF appoints Coach Cristiano Roland to lead the Vietnam U16 national team
As part of the preparation plan for the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers, the Vietnam Football Federation has officially appointed Coach Cristiano Rocha Canedo Roland to lead the Vietnam U16 national team during the second training phase of 2024.
U16 Vietnam returns home, aiming for the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers
Following the conclusion of the 2024 ASEAN U16 Championship, U16 Vietnam returned home on the morning of July 4th. The team will regroup in early August to participate in the International Tournament in China and undergo training in Japan in preparation for the 2025 AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers.
VFF’s leaders met and encouraged the U16 Vietnam team
This afternoon (June 18), Tran Quoc Tuan, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), met and encouraged the members of the Vietnam U16 national team before their departure to participate in the AFF U16 Championship 2024.
