In recent weeks, the Vietnam futsal national team has been training intensively at the Chanh Hung Futsal Club Arena in Ho Chi Minh City in preparation for the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers. Today (September 5), the team played a friendly match against Sahako Club as a final review and assessment of the squad before heading to Kuwait for a training camp.

On the afternoon of April 15, at the Futsal Club Q8 Arena (Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnam national futsal team played to a 2-2 draw against the Kazakhstan national futsal team in the second leg of their international friendly match.

The Vietnam futsal national team defeated Kazakhstan, the world’s 7th-ranked team, with a 4-1 score in the first leg of their friendly match, held on the afternoon of April 13 at Lanh Binh Thang Arena (Ho Chi Minh City).

As part of the April friendly match schedule (in Vietnam), this afternoon, the Vietnam Futsal Team played their first match against the Saudi Arabia Futsal Team and won 2-1.

Today (October 10), Vietnam futsal team, led by head coach Diego Raul Giustozzi, has reconvened in Ho Chi Minh City to officially begin preparations for the 2024 AFF Futsal Championship.

On the evening of April 27, the Vietnam futsal team took a flight from Bangkok to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, ending the journey at the 2024 AFC Asian Futsal Cup.

In an interview on FIFA, captain Pham Duc Hoa of the Vietnam futsal team said that he and his teammates are aiming to win the first medal at the upcoming Asian futsal tournament.

On the afternoon of March 28, at Lanh Binh Thang Stadium – Ho Chi Minh City, the first match of the 2024 International Futsal Tournament took place. In the opening match, the Vietnam futsal team drew with the New Zealand futsal team with a score of 2-2.

During these days, the Vietnam futsal team continues to hone their expertise at Thai Son Nam Gymnasium, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. According to assessments, the Futsal team is operating at full capacity as the coaching staff increases the intensity of exercise.

Today, March 11, the Vietnam futsal team entered the first day of training towards the 2024 Asian Futsal Cup. Coach Giustozzi Diego Raul and his team appeared very excited and determined to realize their target is the third-time in history to participate in the Futsal World Cup.
