On the evening of May 21, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam cheered and congratulated the Vietnamese women’s football team on the victory over the Thai women’s team at the 31st SEA Games.

After 90 minutes of the game and with a 1-0 victory over Thailand at Cam Pha Stadium (Quang Ninh), the Vietnamese women’s team successfully defended the championship of SEA Games.

With this victory, the Vietnamese women’s football team has won the SEA Games 7 times and scored the second hat-trick to win the Gold Medal at the regional playground.
