Drawing ceremony of National Championship Division 2-2021
On the morning of Apr 5, the drawing ceremony of National Championship Division 2-2021 was held at VFF’s House. The ceremony was broadcast live on VFF Channel.
The delegation included Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary, Head of the Organization Broad; Mrs. Dinh Thi Thu Trang – VFF Deputy General Secretary, Deputy Head of the Organization Broad; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary; Mr. Mai The Hung – COM of Dong Luc Co and 10 in total 14 teams of the tournament.
Speak at the ceremony, Mr. Le Hoai Anh emphasized the role of the tournament in the Vietnam professional football tournament system. “Recently, VFF focused on the improvement of the tournament to help the teams quickly adapt to the next level when moving to the Division 1”.
The first leg of the tournament will kick-off on May 04 to June 03, while the second leg will take place from July 05 to Aug 04 with the participant of 14 teams: 1 team from the Division 1-2020 – Đồng Tháp; 11 teams of Division 2-2020 included: SHB Da Nang, Kon Tum, Lam Dong, Hoa Binh, Binh Thuan, Gia Dinh, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, PVF, Dong Nai, HCM City; and 2 teams from Division 3-2020 included Hai Nam Vinh Phuc, Quang Nam.
The teams will be divided into 2 groups and play 2 rounds; 2 top teams of each group will play in the final round. According to that, group A included Kon Tum, Lam Dong, SHB Da Nang, Quang Nam, Hai Nam Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, and PVF; group B included Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Gia Dinh, HCM City, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Vinh Long.
After the ceremony, the coordinators join the workshop to discuss the organization of the matches.
