Excitingly opening the National Football Championship Division 2– Alpha Cup 2022
This afternoon (April 18), the National Football Championship Division 2– Alpha Cup 2022 officially entered the exciting race of the new season, with the first match in both groups A and B.
Attending the opening ceremony held at PVF stadium were Mr. Le Hoai Anh – VFF General Secretary; Mr. Vu Tien Thanh – Deputy General Director of Pho Hien Football Joint Stock Company; Mr. Do Thanh Tung – Deputy General Director of Next Media; Mr. Nguyen Anh Trung – Deputy General Director of Alpha Securities Joint Stock Company (APSC), the main sponsor of the tournament. The ceremony also had the presence of leaders of football teams and media.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Trung – representative of APSC expressed his joy when participating in contributing to the overall development of Vietnamese football through sponsorship for the National Football Championship Division 2 this year. Mr. Nguyen Anh Trung hopes that the tournament will continue to present a good environment for players to develop their professional playing careers.
On behalf of VFF and the organisation committee, VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh also affirmed that, with the efforts of VFF, Next Media’s participation in the organization, the sponsor’s companionship – APSC, with the support and coordination of the localities, the hosting units, the National Football Championship Division 2 – Alpha Cup 2022 will show the role as a competitive environment, thereby contributing to finding potential players to serve Vietnamese football towards key goals in the coming time and in the next periods.
Right after the ceremony, the opening match of Group A between the host PVF and Youth SHB Da Nang took place very attractive and dramatic. PVF had a 1-0 lead, but the lack of player due to Thanh Quy’s red card made coach Le Quang Trai’s team unable to preserve the result and let Youth SHB Da Nang come back to win 2-1. .
Meanwhile, in the opening match of Group B, Dong Nai had a smooth start when overcame Binh Thuan with a score of 3-0.
