Opening the 2022 National U19 Football Championship Final round
On the afternoon of March 22, at the main courtyard of PVF Football Center, the final round of the 2022 National U19 Football Championship officially kicked off.

Attending the opening ceremony were: Mr. Tran Duc Phan, Deputy General Director in charge of the General Department of Sports; Journalist Nguyen Cong Khe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Nien Media Group, co-head of the organizing committee of the award; Mr. Le Hoai Anh, VFF General Secretary, co-head of the Organizing Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi My Dung, Deputy General Director of PVF.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Khe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Nien Media Group, co-head of the organizing committee of the tournament shared: “A few months ago, on this PVF pitch, the final round of the U21 National Championships was also organized by Thanh Nien Media Group and VFF. In the midst of many difficulties of the Covid -19 pandemic, we have successfully organized it with the maximum support of all levels of government, donors, especially PVF Center and Hung Yen provincial government. The rigorous test of the green, clean and beautiful U21 playground has brought a perfect result that in the selected force for the team of head coach Dinh The Nam, won Thailand and won the championship of AFF U23 Championship in Cambodia, delighting the fans.
Today we witness the opening of the final round of the National U19 Football Championship with the 12 strongest teams in the tournament, also in the midst of a complicated and prolonged epidemic situation, but the tournament has entered the final round. It promises to bring new expectations for football, from the U19 youth this time.”
The final round of the 2022 National U19 Football Championship will take place from March 22 to April 6 with the participation of 12 teams: Hanoi, Viettel, SLNA, HAGL, Thanh Hoa, Nutifood Academy, Binh Dinh, Becamex Binh Duong, Long An, Saigon FC, Dong Thap and the home team PVF Hung Yen.
Right after the opening ceremony was the match between the home team U19 PVF Hung Yen and U19 Long An. In the previous match, U19 Viettel won against U19 HAGL with a score of 1-0 thanks to the only goal of Nguyen Van Tu (8) scored in the 21st minute.
