VFF Vice President Tran Anh Tu met Incheon Football Association’s leaders
On the afternoon of 12 July in Incheon, South Korea, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Vice President Tran Anh Tu received and held a working session with representatives of the leadership of the Incheon Football Association to discuss preparations for Vietnam’s training camp ahead of the ASEAN Championship 2026.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Seo Young Deuk, CEO of the Incheon Football Association, and Mr. Lee Dong Jun, CEO of DJ Management, the organisation coordinating with the VFF to organise Vietnam’s training camp in Incheon.
On behalf of the VFF leadership, Vice President Tran Anh Tu expressed his sincere appreciation to the Incheon Football Association and local partners for providing favourable conditions in terms of facilities, training pitches and logistical support, thereby helping Vietnam’s national team prepare in the best possible environment for the ASEAN Championship 2026.
Vice President Tran Anh Tu also expressed his hope that the two sides would continue to strengthen cooperation in the future, particularly in organising training camps, exchange programmes and football development initiatives between the VFF and the Incheon Football Association.
For his part, Mr. Seo Young Deuk said that the Incheon Football Association was delighted and honoured that Vietnam’s national team had chosen Incheon as its training camp venue ahead of the ASEAN Championship 2026. He affirmed that the Association would continue to accompany, closely follow and support the team throughout the remainder of their training camp.
Expressing his affection for Vietnamese football, Mr. Seo Young Deuk expressed his confidence that Vietnam’s national team would make the best possible preparations and achieve its objectives at the ASEAN Championship 2026.
The support provided by the Incheon Football Association and local partners has played an important role in creating favourable conditions for Vietnam’s national team to carry out its training camp as planned, including three training matches against K League opponents before returning home to enter the final stage of preparations for the regional tournament.
