Vietnam U15 women’s team draw with Queensland Maroon U15 in friendly match in Australia
On the afternoon of April 10, the Vietnam U15 women’s team played a friendly match against Queensland Maroon U15 as part of an invitational tournament in Australia. The match took place at the Home of the Matildas, with a duration of 60 minutes (two halves of 30 minutes each), kicking off at 2:30 PM local time (11:30 AM Vietnam time).

From the opening minutes, Vietnam U15 women’s team started confidently, taking control of the game and creating several notable chances toward the opponent’s goal.
In the 20th minute, Vietnam opened the scoring. From a clever through pass, Ma Ngoc Anh broke free and finished accurately to put Vietnam 1–0 ahead. However, just three minutes later, in the 23rd minute, the opponents equalized to make it 1–1.
Capitalizing on an aggressive pressing situation, Queensland Maroon U15 regained possession and quickly converted the opportunity into a goal.
In the remaining time, the Vietnam U15 women’s team continued to play with confidence, organizing multiple attacking moves and creating several chances, but were unable to convert them into goals. The match ended in a 1–1 draw, providing valuable experience for the team in their preparation.
On April 11 and 12, the Vietnam U15 women’s team will continue to play matches against other opponents in this invitational tournament.
