Vietnam Women Team arrived in Australia and started practicing on the first day
Like the previous news, Vietnam Women Team came to Australia yesterday afternoon (2nd Mar) to prepare for the first leg of the play-off at Olympic Tokyo 2020 Qualifier on 6th Mar. After 1 day of moving, the team arrived at 9:50 a.m on 3rd Mar and had the first training session on the same day afternoon.
The team was welcomed by host Australia and had 3 local volunteers to support for the members.
In the afternoon, the team had the first training session. The weather at New Castle quite cool with the temperature around 21 degrees and spit.
The training stadium takes 20 minutes to move by bus from the hotel and not far from the official stadium McDonald Jones. This training session was in 45 minutes.
According to the plan, on the second day, the team will have a light session at the hotel and one official session in 90 minutes on the same day afternoon. On 5th Mar, the representative of the coaching assistant will join the technical meeting while head coach Mai Duc Chung has the press conference before the match.
The fixture of the play-off:
First-leg: (2:30 p.m on 6th Mar): Australia – Vietnam (McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle)
Second-leg (6 p.m on 11st Mar): Vietnam – Australia (Cam Pha Stadium, Quang Ninh)
