“This victory is very worth for Vietnam’s team. I congratulate the whole team on winning, even though it is very hard. In the first half, we had many chances, if these chances could become the scores, we will not hard like that. However, that is football. The host Philippines played very well. They are tall and strong”.

“In the match today, I satisfied with the goalkeeper. Kim Thanh played very well and reasonable. She created good support for the defense. Defender Chuong Thi Kieu also had a good performance”.

The players were very stressful, and the weather was very hot. We had not played with the lights before that so there were some differences with 2 previous matches. I think the problem of the force needs to improve more. Luckily, there were no players have injured”.

Comment about the final game, head coach Mai Duc Chung said; “I think Thailand’s team also tired after the semi-final today. Thailand had only one goal over Myanmar so I think that match very dramatic, the player was work hard, Vietnam’s team either. I will do everything to help the players to recover quickly”.

Chance is for both teams. In football, we cannot sure anything but Vietnam’s team always try the best”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung commented about the match.

“It is clear that the support of the fans made us very happy. We never have this feeling before. Hence, the competitive spirits of the players sharply increased”.

Answer the question about finding new players, head coach Mai Duc Chung stated: “Finding new players at this moment may be difficult because we have limited teams in the Women’s National League. After SEA Games, we will add young players from Women’s U19 National team into the national team to train and prepare for the next SEA Games in Vietnam”.
