Head coach Mai Duc Chung: “The opponent is very strong however Vietnam team will play with the highest spirit”
At 6:30 p.m of 6th Mar, Vietnam Women Team will join the first leg of the play-off at the Olympic Tokyo 2020 Qualifier with Australia team. Speak at the press conference before the match at McDonald Jones Stadium (Newcastle, Australia), head coach Mai Duc Chung shared about the preparing process.
“This is a strong opponent. Australia is in Top 7 of the world and joined the World Cup many times. Therefore, the opportunity to play with them is very precious. I appreciate the home team, they have a good force, shape, and skill. We come here to study and will play with the highest spirit”.
Discuss the ambition at the match, head coach Mai Duc Chung stated that: “First is learning, second is avoiding yellow card, protect the force and minimum the down score. This is our goal because Vietnam Team is young and we forward to the long term future”.
