The Vietnam women’s national team will head to South Korea before they take part in the AFF Women’s Championship that will be hosted by Myanmar on 9-22 September. After South Korea, the team will take a direct flight into Myanmar.

he Vietnam Women’s team is stationed in Da Lat to have physical training in preparation for the important target at the AFF Women’s Championship 2013 which will be held in Myanmar from 7-23/9/013.


Mr. Tran Van Phat – Team Head coach has turned the 7th day in Dalat with high intensity workouts and strict mostly run around a famous tourist destination. According to Mr Doan Anh Tuan Assistant Coach, in the last few days, the National Women’s team had two training sessions in artificial grass (around 10 minutes to move from team Hotel), 2 running sessions around Xuan Huong Lake, 3 running sessions around the hotel area. Notably, in the morning through (7/8), Tran Van Phat coach decided to run the game conquered the Lang Bian mountain.Dalat is known as the “city of Spring” with its cool climate, high temperatures average 24 º C during the day and low 15 º C with an average rainfall of 1.755mm. The dry season here is from December to March next year, the rainy season from April to November and particularly sunny season. Datat now in the rainy season but the sudden rains here with few intermittent sunshine mix should not affect the team’s travel and training plans.

Mount Lang Bian Plateau lies to the north, the city of Da Lat, around 12km, located in Lac Duong town, Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province. With 1950m altitude compared to sea level, Lang Bian Plateau is one of the highest mountain in Da Lat, therefore, this is really is a challenging exercise for female players. So, after almost a day spent to reach the summit attempt, the coaching staff and the players were very satisfied with what they have experienced. At Langbiang milestone, Mr. Tran Van Phat coach took pictures and took photos with fans.

Besides training, on the last day (3rd August),  Mr Tran Van Phat – Head Coach and his students visited Dalat market. This is considered a central market area, great for all kinds of goods and local products – an idea place for players not only visiting but also buying fresh fruits to enjoy. The female players did not go out to buy fruits forget about to enjoy.

Thus, the National Women’s team was half way in the physical forging stage. The training content and location of the next day will be BHL and coach Tran Van Phat decide day by day basis due to weather conditions.

The defending champions will initiate a two-week physical training course in Da Lat City in Lam Dong before beginning their tactical lessons on 15 August.
