Viet Nam’s U23 team on Monday won their first match in a series of four friendlies during their training period in Hungary after beating the local club Testveriseg Se 4-1.

On the stroke of half time, midfielder Tran Manh Dung  scored to get Viet Nam back in front

Striker Mac Hong Quan put Viet Nam ahead just three minutes into the match, but Testveriseg Se found the equaliser on the penalty spot four minutes from the break.

Dung scored a second goal at the 74th minute to extend the lead to 3-1 before another midfielder Tran Phi Son sealed the victory 4-1 for Viet Nam.

The U23 side will play their second friendly against Reac Sportiskola today. They will meet Reac Sportiskola U21 on Friday, and then play in the final match on Sunday
