Evaluation of the result at Jeju (Korea), head coach Mai Duc Chung said that the team had many advantages when DPR Korea did not participate, so the team only need to play 2 matches. “At this round, we have gotten good results. First, about the young players, the under-19-players had the opportunities to play with the strong teams such as Korea. Secondly, we completed the mission with 1 win and join in the play-off. Finally, no one gets the injury as well as minimize the goals against. However, I think the most important is the chance for young players to play and learn experience”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung stated.

Besides the good results, head coach Mai Duc Chung also acknowledged some limitations of the team. “After SEA Games 30, we had a short time to prepare because of the Lunar New Year Holiday. After the gap, the team did not have any training matches to practice. We also miss some key players because of injury. However, the players played well and continued to show a strong competitive spirit”.

“I and the assistant coaching will take care of the force of the team and stabilize the tactics. I also care about the location of the second-leg and wait for the final plan of VFF to made a detailed plan for the team”. Head coach Mai Duc Chung said.

As the runner-up of Group A, the Vietnam team will play the first-leg away from home on 6th Mar and the second-leg on 11th Mar.

According to the plan, Vietnam Women Team will gather on the afternoon of 16th Feb.
