Opening ceremony of the training on assessors, referees of national professional football season 2022

In the morning of Feb 20, a training program on assessors, referees for the 2022 national professional football tournaments was organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in collaboration with the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) was opened in Hanoi.

The delegation included Mr. Le Van Thanh –  VFF Vice President, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the training program; Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Standing member of VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF, member of the Steering Committee for the training program; Mr. Duong Van Hien – Member of VFF Executive Committee, Head of Arbitration Committee; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoi – Member of VFF Executive Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of VPF; Mr. Le Hoai Anh – General Secretary of VFF, Head of the Organizing Committee of the training program; Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of VPF; The General Secretariat, leaders of functional departments of VFF, VPF, organizing committee of the training course and all assessors, referees and assistant referees participating in duty at national professional football tournaments this year 2022.

Speaking at the training program, VFF General Secretary, Head of the Organizing Committee of the training program Le Hoai Anh emphasized: “Through 4 days of training, besides being updated with amendments and supplements, in addition to the 2021/22 Competition Laws and performing the tests according to the regulations, we will together exchange, discuss and share experiences and solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, based on the lessons learned from previous seasons”.

Mr. Le Hoai Anh also shared: “The 2022 season will continue to take place in the context of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. Health and safety factors for members participating in the Tournament need to be prioritized. That is also the reason why regulations on the safe management of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control are an important content included in the Tournament’s Regulations. Therefore, at this training program, the assessors team, who are directly involved in the organization of the match, need to master all the regulations and procedures related to the prevention and control of the epidemic. before, during and after each match. Ensuring safety against COVID-19 will be a prerequisite for our tournament to proceed as planned.”

Agreed with VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh, Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of VPF expects that during the training period, assessors and referees will absorb and learn a lot of experience. useful, flexible application of knowledge and experience when on duty at the national professional football tournaments in 2022 in general and the Nigh Wolf National Championship 2022 in particular, which will open on February 25. Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc affirmed that as the organizer of national professional tournaments, VPF company will always create the most favorable conditions for the force of supervisors and referees to fulfill their duties well.

On behalf of VFF, Vice President Le Van Thanh hoped that the referees would continue to maintain fairness in controlling the matches. Mr. Le Van Thanh asked the “black kings” to resolutely handle negative and violent expressions on the ground, especially to strictly comply with the spirit of the Law in order to contribute to improving the sense of professionalism in the competition. The players in the Vietnamese football scene are having a strong integration with the general development of world football.

As planned, the training program will last for 4 days, from February 20 to February 23, 2022. This afternoon, all referees and assistant referees will participate in a fitness test at Hang Day Stadium. Only referees and assistant referees who pass the tests are eligible to participate in the task at phase 1 of the new national professional league season.
