CAND Club holds the ticket for promotion to V.League 1 from the previous round. However, the team of coach Thach Bao Khanh want to win the tournament championship, so they were determined to overcome the host Dak Lak – the team that desperately needs to win to race for relegation. And there can be no unexpected results when the CAND team has surpassed the home team to complete the championship goal.

The remaining promotion slot is a fierce competition between Khanh Hoa Club and Quang Nam Club. Nha Trang team faced many difficulties when welcoming Can Tho Club, especially when letting the away-team take the lead. But with bravery and experience, coach Dinh Tan’s team won the final 3-1 to finish in second place, and also own the second ticket to play V.League 1 season 2023.

Quang Nam Club fought until the last minute for the hope of promotion when they won 3-0 against Phu Tho Club. However, coach Sy Son’s team could not do what they wanted because the right to self-determination was not in the hands of the Quang Nam team. Winning in round 22 helped Quang Nam Club win the bronze medal in the end. This is an encouraging reward because in many times of the season, Quang Nam Club thought it had been overtaken by other teams and missed the opportunity to pursue.

Dak Lak Club could not surprise CAND Club to stay in the First Division tournament. They are the only team to be relegated to the Second Division this season. During the season, Dak Lak Club had many times in a safe position and the most alarming name was Binh Phuoc Club and then Phu Dong. But in the end, Dak Lak club is the team relegating to second division, losing the sub-index to Phu Dong club (with 18 points). Binh Phuoc club had an impressive “escape” to move from the bottom of the table regularly to 10th place, 1 point more than the following two teams.

Pho Hien Club ranked 5th overall, leaving many regrets. This young team used to have periods of “storming” and reaching the top of the rankings. But unstable performance in important moments, especially the lossing in the extra time against Long An and CAND, made Pho Hien gradually move away from the dream of promotion, finishing in 5th place, behind BRVT club.

Can Tho Club overcame many difficulties to finish in 8th place. The remaining representative of the Southwest region, Long An Club, had an impressive season, taking 6th place in the rankings. Waiting for bigger, stronger steps of the two representatives of the West in the 2023 season.
