SEA Games 2011: Indonesia and Malaysia in same group A with Thailand

Hosts Indonesia and defending champions Malaysia have been placed in the tougher Group A of the SEA Games 2011 which will be held in Jakarta starting on 3 November 2011. 

The other teams in Group A are Thailand, Singapore and Cambodia while Group B are 2009 runners-up Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Timor Leste, Laos and Brunei.

The draw for the men’s football event at the 26th edition of the SEA Games was held at the RCTI Studio in West Jakarta.

GROUP A: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia

GROUP B: Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Timor Leste, Laos, Brunei
