Hanoi (18 Nov 2008) – The V-League in Vietnam will begin on 7 February 2009 – one week after the National Cup and one day after The First Division. With total of 14 clubs will compete for the title until 23, August, 2009.

The new fixtures of the Vietnam football competition system for 2009 were officially announced by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) today. 

 

V-League 2009 will kick off on 7 Feb

The National Cup has been scheduled for 31 January till 28 August, 2009 to be followed by the National Super Cup match between B.Binh Duong and Hanoi ACB. There will be 27 clubs taking part in The National Cup including 14 clubs of V-League and 13 ones of The First Division.

 

The V- League will then kick off on 7 February 2009 while the First Division, Second Division and Third Division league will start on February 6, March 31 and mid-October respectively.
