During this difficult time, VPF encouraged all clubs to focus on following the safeguarding of the Government and Health Department to prevent the spearing of the Coronavirus.  This is an important mission since 15th Apr. According to the report of the participant clubs, until now, the methods to avoid the effect of the Covid-19 were applied well. 3 clubs allowed the players to stay at home included Hanoi FC, Ho Chi Minh City FC, Than Quang Ninh FC. The players should practice at home and report their health situation every day for the clubs. Other clubs controlled the social distance of the players and minimized the moving of the members. The methods to raise the acknowledgment and responsibility of the players have occurred frequency.

About the plan of the tournament after this time, to ensure the competition plans of national teams as well as clubs, as the guiding of VFF, on 25th Mar, VPF made the centralized competition organization plan for the first leg. About this plan, some clubs agreed with VPF such as Hanoi FC, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Than Quang Ninh, Viettel, Thanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, Sai Gon, Ho Chi Minh City. Quang Nam FC said that they will not plan until the government can control the Covid-19, and in case the pandemic is controlled, it should play at the city which had the smaller effect of Covid-19. Duoc Nam Ha Nam Dinh FC also asks VPF to make more plans. Becamex Binh Duong FC and SHB Da Nang FC did not agree with the centralized competition plan of VPF. SHB Da Nang argued that if the time is limited, the tournament can play with 1 round to ensure the quality for the national teams. SHB Da Nang offered that there won’t any clubs have to drop down at the tournament in 2020 to reduce the pressure as well as create more opportunities for players.

The opinions of the clubs all focused on finding the best solution for the session 2020. Finally, Mr. Tran Anh Tu – CEO of VPF said due to the opinions of the clubs, VPF will summarize and report to VFF. According to reality, VPF will make the plans for each situation.
