Although the weather in Auckland is very cold, my teammates and I always feel warm thanks to everyone’s love. That will be the motivation for the whole team to do their best.”
Sharing about the past training days in New Zealand, coach Mai Duc Chung said: “We have come to a very beautiful country New Zealand. The team spirit is very good. Today, it’s even more fun when everyone comes here today.”
The head coach of the Vietnam women’s team also thanked the fans for the gifts and wished everyone good health.
Representatives of the Vietnamese community in Auckland also shared their joy when the Vietnam women’s team came to compete here. “No matter about the score or the result, you will always be in our hearts.”
Earlier, at the training session this afternoon, coach Mai Duc Chung let the team divide into groups and compete internally in a short time. During the process, there was a slight collision between striker Pham Hai Yen and midfielder Duong Thi Van, but the team doctors quickly handled and ensured the health of the players before the first match at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on July 22.
