Dong Tam Long An to face Da Nang in BTV Cup semis

Dong Tam Long An will play Da Nang in the semi-finals of Binh Duong Television-sponsored invitational football tournament/BTV Cup while Daejeon will face Matsubara.

Dong Tam Long An and Daejeon, who had qualified for the semi-finals with a game in hand, shared the spoils in their final group game, while Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Dalian Shide drew 1-1.

The match between Dong Tam Long An and Daejeon took place in a friendly manner as both sides rested their key players for the semi-finals.

Dong Tam Long An had good opportunities in the second half but Tshamala Kabanga and Minh Minh failed to score.

The draw, however, was enough for Dong Tam Long An to top Group B with seven points. They led Daejeon on goal difference.

In another match, Hoang Anh Gia Lai earned their first point in the tournament, drawing 1-1 with Dalian Shide.

Rafael opening the scoring on 62 minutes and Zhang Depeng cancelled out in stoppage time.
