The top five teams in the Vietnamese First Division changed positions Saturday after two of them were beaten in the 20th round.

It has made the dash for the title, with six rounds to go, even more exciting.

The biggest surprise in the latest round was An Giang”s 2-0 loss to Hai Phong, allowing the latter to take over in second place, pushing An Giang to third in the table.

The favorite now trails leader The Cong by five points after the former bagged full points with a 2-0 win over host Quang Ngai.

Quang Ninh dropped from fourth to fifth place after losing 1-0 at home to Can Tho.

Dong Nai now lies fourth after edging Ninh Binh by a similar score.
Things are unchanged at the bottom.
