True Love – To The Future: BVB Legends travel to Vietnam
As planned, on September 28, the BVB Legends will travel to Vietnam to play with Vietnam All Stars at Thong Nhat Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City) within the framework of the campaign True Love – Towards the Future aims to raise funds to support orphans and children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. On the afternoon of Sep 06, the organisation committee held a press conference to announce the match at the Youth Cultural House of Ho Chi Minh City.
The True Love – To The Future campaign is run by Next Media, HCMC’s Youth Union, Borussia Dortmund, and delegates of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK) and VFF to support orphans and children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in HCM City.
The crucial part of the campaign is a friendly match between All Stars Vietnam and Borussia Dortmund’s Legends. The legend match against the Vietnam All-Star at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on Wednesday, September 28, at 7 pm local time. Singer Hoang Bach and singer My Tam will become the campaign’s ambassadors, determined to spread True Love’s message.
Among the BVB Legends squad are Julio Cesar, Dedé, Marcel Schmelzer, Norbert Dickel, Evanílson, Kevin Großkreutz, Jörg Heinrich, Jan Koller, David Odonkor, Patrick Owomoyela, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Miroslav Stevic, Roman Weidenfeller, Ibrahim Tanko, Mladen Petic and Mohamed Zidan.
The VFF paid special attention to this event, creating favorable conditions in the organisation and professional support. VFF Vice President Cao Van Chong shared: “The VFF hopes that the True Love campaign will be “a bridge” between philanthropists and unlucky people, thereby creating more motivation and faith to children in Ho Chi Minh City, support them towards a shinning future”.
