On the afternoon of January 5, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the training camp for assessors and referees of the 2023 national professional football tournaments in the Northern region was organized by VFF and the Professional Football Joint Stock Company. Vietnam (VPF) coordination organization officially opened.
Attending the opening ceremony, on the VFF side, there were Mr. Tran Huy Duc – Member of the Executive Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary; Mr. Dang Thanh Ha – Head of Arbitration Committee and members of the Arbitration Committee. On the side of VPF, there were Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of VPF; Mr. Vo Van Hung – Vice President of VPF and members of the Organizing Committee of the training camp, functional departments of VFF, VPF company, lecturers, assessors, referees and media.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary emphasized: “Each assessor and referee must make every effort, train, cultivate knowledge and build a personal brand. Each successful individual will contribute to a successful football background. VFF will accompany and support the supervisors and referees. In the near future, the VAR project will be implemented. In addition, the signing of cooperation programs by VFF with regional federations will help Vietnamese referees have the opportunity to participate in overseas matches. On behalf of VFF, I hope the assessors and referees can take advantage of this valuable time to learn and create the best “luggage” for the 2023 season.
Head of the VFF Arbitration Committee Dang Thanh Ha shared: “Every year we organize pre-season training. But the most important thing is that we have to have the right perception, from the fitness test to the professional issues. Assessors and referees need to apply the knowledge from training into practice. Assessors and referees need to be ready for the game at all times, maintaining fitness and expertise. Please don’t think that just passing the fitness test, the theory is that we will automatically become a good referee on the field. You have to change the way you think, the way you act, and always be in the best position to have the best physical, mental, and knowledge to run the assigned match.”
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of VPF said: “The training course on assessors and referees in the South region has just ended with 100% of the referees and assessors having successfully completed the fitness and expertise test. Hopefully in the Northern training session, we also complete the set content well. In the 2023 season, the matches promise to be tough and fierce with high professional quality. Therefore, we require the assessors and referees to make efforts, try and complete the assigned tasks.
The training camp for assessors and referees of the national professional football tournaments in the North will take place from January 5 to January 9 at the headquarters of the VFF.
