VFF announced the main sponsor of the National Women’s Football League – Cup Thai Son Bac 2023

On the afternoon of October 2, at the Vietnam Football Federation Headquarters, a ceremony to announce the Main Sponsor and draw the schedule for the national women’s football League – Thai Son Bac Cup 2023 took place.

The cooperation between VFF and Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Co., Ltd. continues to be an important encouragement, demonstrating the cohesion and great and persistent contributions of the Main Sponsor to the development of Vietnamese women’s football.

Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi – General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation emphasized: “This is the 12th year that Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Company Limited has accompanied the National Women’s Football Championship. VFF hopes that the national women’s football tournament in particular and Vietnamese women’s football in general will continue to receive more attention from society, sponsors, and fans; With the contribution of the media, Vietnamese women’s football will make stronger strides.”

As the representative of the main sponsor of the tournament, Mr. Tran Anh Minh – Member of the Executive Committee of Vietnam Football Federation, General Director of Thai Son Bac Electrical Equipment Trading Company Limited also affirmed: “2023 is a special year for Vietnam women’s football when first appeared in the World Cup. The girls left a beautiful image to their international friends with their courageous competition. As the main sponsor of the national women’s football championship for many years, we are extremely proud and happy when our contributions bring honor to Vietnamese football reaching the World Cup arena. This year, the tournament increased by 1 more team compared to last year. This promises to expand the quality of the tournament, thereby providing players for the Vietnam women’s national team.”

National Women’s Football League – Cup Thai Son Bac 2023 increases the total number from 7 to 8 teams participating in the tournament, including: Hanoi I, Hanoi II, Phong Phu Ha Nam, Ho Chi Minh City I, Ho Chi Minh City II, Son La, Than KSVN, Thai Nguyen T&T.

Teams compete in a two-legged round-robin format (first and second leg) with the host locality to calculate points, ranked from first to eighth. Each team is allowed to substitute a maximum of 5 players in a maximum of 3 substitutions per match. The tournament is expected to take place from November 16 to December 28, 2023 in Hanoi and Hung Yen.
