VFF highly appreciates FIFA’s interest in and support for Vietnamese football in particular, as well as football in Southeast Asia as a whole. President Infantino’s recent visit to Vietnam, which included attendance at the AFF Hyundai Cup final as the invitation of Asean Football Federation was warmly received by Vietnamese football stakeholders and fans alike. His presence at the tournament underscored FIFA’s commitment to the growth of the game across Southeast Asia and recognised the region’s passion for football.
