VFF President encourages Vietnam futsal team ahead of third-place playoff

At the meeting, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan acknowledged the team’s efforts throughout the tournament, emphasizing that the third-place playoff presents an opportunity to conclude the campaign on a positive note. Amid a transitional phase with the inclusion of many young players, the team needs to maximize focus, maintain discipline, and demonstrate strong match temperament, thereby building a solid foundation for future progress.

He also noted that in knockout matches, the decisive factor lies in maintaining concentration and minimizing mistakes. The team must compete with high determination while staying composed, managing emotions effectively to avoid unnecessary situations that could impact the outcome of the match.

Agreeing with the VFF President’s direction, Vice President Tran Anh Tu emphasized that the entire team must have confidence in their abilities, as Vietnam’s futsal national team has consistently maintained its competitive position and regularly won medals at regional competitions in recent years. As the Standing Executive Committee representative of VFF accompanying the team since the start of the tournament, he expressed his belief that the players will fully maximize their potential and compete with the highest level of confidence and determination.

In addition, VFF leaders also requested the coaching staff to make thorough technical preparations and closely analyze the opponent in order to devise the most suitable tactical approach. They affirmed that every achievement holds significant value, not only for individual players but also for the overall accomplishments of Vietnamese football, and will be duly recognized.

According to the schedule, the third-place playoff between Vietnam futsal team and Australia futsal team will take place at 5:00 PM this afternoon (April 12).
