VFF’s leader meets and encourages U22 and U19 national team

On the morning of 22nd Aug, VFF General Secretary Lê Hoài Anh had the meeting to encourage 2 national teams U22 and U19.

At this meeting, on behalf of VFF, General Secretary Lê Hoài Anh congratulated all members after complete all the medical tests with good results to ensure the healthy forward to the new missions in the coming period. VFF General Secretary emphasized in this time, under the effect of Covid-19 pandemic, the gathering of both teams not only is the effort of General Department of Sports and Physical Training, VFF, coaching assistants but also is the supporting of the authorities, clubs, football training centres, Ministry of Health included Medical Services Administration Tropical Diseases Centre (Bạch Mai hospital, Hanoi). Mr. Lê Hoài Anh reminded the doctors of 2 teams to continue to guide the members following the prevention actions as well as ensure the nutrition for the players.

About the missions, General Secretary Lê Hoài Anh stated that they not only focus on the up-coming tournaments such as AFC U23 Championship 2022, SEA Games 31, AFC U19 Championship but also forward to FIFA World Cup 2026. Hence, start from this moment, the players need to try hard to show all abilities follow the senior players. Besides continuing to create favorable conditions for the teams, VFF also believed in head coach Park Hang-seo, head coach Philippe Troussier and coaches will help the players to grow up and develop.

After the meeting, U22 Vietnam had the recovery session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre. Meanwhile, the U19 team will move to the PVF centre on the afternoon on the same day to officially start the training process.
